Aging Gracefully? Absolutely Not!

Welcome back to the blog!

We have all been told we should embrace aging. Hollywood and social media has been telling me for years to be proud of getting older and let my hair go natural and embrace the no makeup look.

Although I do believe we should be proud that we have survived so much,  I still believe everyone should do what makes them happy and gives them confidence.

I have spent the last year and a half doing just that. I stopped coloring my hair and let it go natural. I cut most of the color out by having my hair cut into a chin length bob. During this time I learned a few things.

What I LEARNED

The first thing I learned was that my natural color was nowhere close to as dark as it used to be.

Secondly, I was shocked to discover just how much gray hair had come through.

However the most important thing I learned was that I had lost a good chunk of my confidence.

I've discovered that embracing the no makeup look and letting my gray hair come shining through just isn't for me. I applaud all of the people that have found a way to embrace the process and they look beautiful but it just wasn't the right fit for me and that's okay too.

I will be the first to admit that I have always been described as vain.

I have always loved doing my hair, skincare, makeup, clothes, etc. and I don't believe that is a bad thing. I enjoy the process just like my meditation, yoga and daily aerobic workouts are simply a part of me and how I take care of myself.

With some help from Revlon I took my hair from drab to Fab and now I'm happy and have an incredible confidence boost.

I chose one of the ultra blonde shades. My natural hair color is brown so I knew ahead of time that my hair would not look like the model on the box with the first use. I wanted to go as light as possible as quickly as I could. Important to note I also had quite a bit of gray to cover.

Hair Transformation

I love the results! All the gray is gone and the color is beautiful. I will say I was really impressed with the conditioner that comes in the box. I would buy that conditioner by the gallon if they would let me. Amazing quality at an affordable price.

B-PURE Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it. The B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser is now part of my daily 3 Step Skin Care Routine. I highly recommend trying it for yourself. Why I Chose the Lifestyle Blogger Niche

Good Morning! As many of you know, I have been blogging for years. Today I thought I would share with you how after creating and running multiple blogs in multiple niche's I would tell you how I came to the decision to become a lifestyle blogger. Many moons ago when I first started blogging when it was extremely popular I was always told you had to narrow down your niche. There were so many to choose from but if you wanted to grow this is how it was supposed to be done or so I was told. For years I ran multiple blogs including a family/ parenting, beauty, fashion, food, review, and entertainment blogs. Needless to say I was exhausted all the time from the constant content creation for the blogs and running multiple social media accounts for each one. I was also a SAHM , full time homeschool mom, and taking online classes myself on top of everything else.  I learned a lot over the years blogging but the biggest thing I learned is that what works for some people doesn't necess...
