Welcome back to the blog!  We have all been told we should embrace aging. Hollywood and social media has been telling me for years to be proud of getting older and let my hair go natural and embrace the no makeup look.  Although I do believe we should be proud that we have survived so much,  I still believe everyone should do what makes them happy and gives them confidence. I have spent the last year and a half doing just that. I stopped coloring my hair and let it go natural. I cut most of the color out by having my hair cut into a chin length bob. During this time I learned a few things. Pond's Rejuveness anti- wrinkle cream is a wonderful product to add to your daily routine. Review I have been using Pond's Rejuveness anti-wrinkle cream for a few years now. I originally picked up a travel size jar at my local Walmart Marketplace. When I decide to try out a new skin care product I always look for a sample/ travel size to start with. I suffer from sensitive skin and I can't see spending money on a full size jar of skin care until I know for sure I will be able to use it.  According to the company you can see visible results in as little as two weeks. I'm going to be completely honest with you here and tell you upfront I didn't actually time the results. I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it.   This year I have decided to streamline my Skincare Routine. What exactly does that mean? Instead of using ten plus products on my skin every morning I will be only using three. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now and the results are amazing. All three of these products work really well on my mature and extremely sensitive skin. My three products are  Gentle Skin Cleanser, Witch Hazel, and Pond's Rejuveness. Step One  I start by cleansing my face with this gentle cleanser that I found at my local Dollar Tree. I love how gentle this product is. It does a great job cleaning my face and removing dirt and oil without irritation.   I am always on the hunt for the best of the best when it comes to foundation. I came across the Maybelline Fit Me Matte+ Poreless Liquid Foundation a few months ago and decided to give it a try.   I found a sample of Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick online and fell in love with it! I have been using this every day since I discovered it.  The shade I received was Red Velvet. For years I have stayed away from red lip color simply because as I got older red just seemed too dark and did not have the same effect it did when I was younger.  I was surprised by how well this looked.   On September 26, 2021, Hubby and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. A huge milestone for us. We decided to celebrate this milestone from the safety of our home, away from strangers, and far away from germs. Hubby cooked alfredo for dinner because it was the first thing he cooked for me when we started dating. After dinner, we enjoyed a glass of our favorite local wine. Southern White Wine from Lakeridge Winery in Clermont, Florida.  One of my favorite things about celebrating at home was the multiple outfit changes I had during our anniversary date. Recently I was scrolling through my Instagram feed as I do multiple times a day and came across a promotion for a free sample of Revitalift Derm Intensives (1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum ) offered by L’Oreal Paris and fulfilled by #SoPost.   Most of the people in my family were blessed with thick long beautiful lashes. Sadly I was not one of them.
