Nancy Drew Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

  Title:
The Search for the Midnight Wraith

Original Air Date:
 January 20, 2021

 Recap:
This episode picks up right where it left off at the end of season one. Nancy, Bess, George, Nick, and Ace telling each other the visions of their impending deaths.
Bess decides she can get rid of Nick's truck so he doesn't drown in it and Nick decides to get rid of the meat hook and other impaling looking objects from the Claw to keep Ace safe.

Still reeling from learning that Lucy and Ryan are her birth parents and trying to find a way to break the curse of the Aglaeca ,Detective Tamura makes a surprise visit to the Claw. According to Detective Tamura he needs Nancy's help to identify a young woman who was running out of the woods. Detective Tamura said before losing consciousness she said Nancy's name.

Nancy and George head to the hospital and while George runs interference with Carson after spotting him with a client. Nancy and Detective Tamura head to the room of the young woman. Nancy tells him she has no idea who she is and has never seen her before. She then tells him the legend of the woods that they found her at.
According to the legend the Wraith preys on your fears, driving you deeper and deeper into the woods until you're never seen from again.

Back at the Claw after a little bit of digging by Ace, they discover that Bess had sent out a tweet offering a reward to anyone who could help them break the curse of the Aglaeca. They also discover that the young woman is Amanda Bobbsey and that her twin brother Gil is still lost in the woods.

Nancy and the crew head out to the woods and end up at the Hudson Lodge only to be discovered by Mr. Hudson ( you remember him, he threatened to kill Lucy and her unborn baby when he learned she was pregnant with Ryan's child) .

Mr. Hudson throws them in a room and it's daddy Ryan to the rescue! He tells his father he invited Nancy out there to give her a bonus for helping the family. Nancy and the crew head out into the woods and battle their fears along the way until they come across an old bus and find Gil inside.

Thankfully, Bess picked up the insulin they found back at the lodge and Nick was able to administer it due to the fact that his dad is also diabetic.
Still unable to walk on his own Nancy sends the crew out with Gil to get to safety while she stays behind to keep the Wraith occupied with her fears.
While the crew makes it out Nancy discovers her biggest fear is herself. She realized that she no longer trusts who she is since learning that she was lied to about being a Drew.

Once safely out of the woods Gil sells them the mirror he stole from the Hudson's Lodge that supposedly will help them defeat the Aglaeca. Nancy breaks the glass and discovers writing underneath that says there is an old sea shanty that will help break the curse. Of course Detective Tamura shows up at the same time and promptly takes Nancy and Gil into custody for stealing from the Hudson Lodge.

Detective Tamura stops at the hospital and while Gil is with his sister who has regained consciousness Detective Tamura takes the handcuffs off Nancy and tells her she is free to go thanks to Ryan. Ryan tells her he informed the Detective that the mirror was a token of appreciation and that he didn't tell him she can't steal a family heirloom when she's a member of the family.

Back at the Claw the Aglaeca has a surprise for everyone when Nick's truck is back in the parking lot and all the impaling things are still there. The Aglaeca isn't letting them go.

Ace admits to Nancy that he's upset that she dragged them into the curse and that he's scared of dying because he finally feels like he belongs to something special but just because he's angry he still cares about her and doesn't want to see her get hurt. B-PURE Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it. The B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser is now part of my daily 3 Step Skin Care Routine. I highly recommend trying it for yourself.
