Recap:
The episode starts with Lisbeth questioning a very distraught Nancy about the death of Owen at Diana's annual birthday bash. Nancy tells Lisbeth that she is responsible for Owen's death because she performed the ritual to call the Aglacea.
Nancy, Bess, George, and Nick decide to hold a séance to try to talk to Owen because they believe the Aglacea is coming to kill all of them because they broke the pact.
While they are setting things up for the séance Ryan pays an unexpected visit to check on Nancy. He is greeted harshly by George who quickly tells him to leave and not to bother Nancy right now. Unfortunately when they perform the séance it is not Owen that they manage to contact but the Aglacea herself. Throughout the scene George is having trouble with PDA with Nick and realizes she has no idea how to be in a relationship because the only other relationship she had was with Ryan in secret while he was married to Tiffany.
George finally gets the courage to confront Ryan later in the episode about how he treated her and tells him because of the rules he taught her she doesn't know how to be in a real relationship. Ryan apologizes but it is now up to George to move on.
Meanwhile Bess is not ready to face the entire Marvin family and George and Nick offer to go with her. Aunt Diana is insistent that Bess take over the funeral arrangements for Owen much to the dismay of the rest of the family. While Bess is with Aunt Diana, George and Nick discover from another Marvin that the family has what they call a “Hall Of Tragedies” in the upstairs hallway of previous family members who also met with untimely deaths.
Diana tells Bess that she wants her to use her relationship with Lisbeth to gain information about Owen's death and report back to her immediately.
While Bess, George, and Nick are dealing with the Marvin family, Nancy and Ace head over to the Historical Society to learn more about the Aglacea Curse. They are shocked to discover that if Owen had been killed by the Aglacea they would have been killed at the same time for breaking the curse. Nancy and Ace realize that Owen wasn't killed by a spirit but by an actual human and they vow to find out who killed him.
Back at the Marvin Mansion Whitney feels threatened by Bess after Diana puts her in charge of Owen's funeral. Nancy and Ace head over to Owen's apartment to look for clues and discover a hand print on the outside of the bedroom window and they call Lisbeth in to the investigation. Lisbeth informs them that Owen fought his attacker and that they retrieved skin from under his nails and that the hand print on the window did not have any fingerprints.
Lisbeth ask Ace for help with Owen's phone after lifting a print and realizing someone had tried to gain access to his phone repeatedly before being locked out of the phone. Nancy realizes that Joshua had to have been the one watching her and Owen because he was severely burned and he would not have any fingerprints left.
Nancy and Ace decide to pay Lucy's mom a visit and Nancy tells Patrice that she is Lucy's daughter and she informs Nancy that Joshua never left town and points to the roof. Nancy calls Lisbeth before heading to the roof to confront Joshua.
On the roof Joshua tells her he will never believe his sister committed suicide and tries to kill Nancy again. During the fight Nancy tells him she is Lucy's daughter and his niece. Ace arrives at this moment and Joshua stumbles backwards at the thought that he has been trying to kill his own niece. Hanging from the edge of the building Nancy and Ace pull Joshua to safety just as Lisbeth arrives with backup.
Bess discovers a clue in one of the paintings in the so called “Hall Of Tragedies” and asks Diana about it. Diana tells her that the paintings were done by her Great-Great-Great-Grandfather Douglas who was a sea captain. Diana invites Bess to move in with her and as Bess is walking away she realizes the painting shows a woman (The Aglacea) drowning the sea in front of the boat.
Is it possible that the Aglacea was in fact human at one time and that a Marvin was responsible for her death. That would explain why the toll for Nancy was supposed to be Owen Marvin.
If they day wasn't traumatizing enough, the episode ends with Nancy and her friends all having visions of their own deaths. George and Nick see themselves drowning inside the cab of his truck, Bess sees herself burning alive in the Marvin Mansion, Ace sees himself hanging from a meat hook in the claw, and Nancy sees herself dying the exact same way that Lucy did, falling of the cliff.
