YouVersion Bible App Review
Welcome to the blog, grab your coffee, and let's get going. Today I will be sharing a review of an app that I've been using for a while now on my phone — the YouVersion Bible app. I found this app searching through the Google Play store one day, and since then I've been using it several times a day.
I am currently working on plans that they offer for hope, anxiety depression and joy. I typically spend two hours every morning using the app to complete my Bible studies and then again at night for about an hour before I head to bed. Not counting the devotions I'm currently working on, I've already completed over a hundred and fifty of the devotions on the app.
I've been using those for a while now and the plans that you choose can range anywhere from a 3-day reading plan to a 90-day reading plan. Every time you click on a plan, it will give you a breakdown of what it covers, how many days it lasts, and, if you need to, you can even request a sample of it before signing up.
Once you subscribe to the plan, it will give you the option to do a plan by yourself or do a study group with friends.
The YouVersion app offers free Bible versions, audio Bibles, daily verses and devotions. It's available in over 1000 languages, you can also customize your Bible with highlights, bookmarks, public notes, and private notes, you can access everything online or download select versions to read offline.
The YouVersion app also allows you to create shareable Bible art you can add bible verses to your photos or you can use their daily scriptures with images, you can also use the devotions privately or you can share with your friends so you can do a Bible study together.
You can also adjust the font, the text size and contrast for bright or low light. The Bible versions that are available through the app are the King James version, the new international version, revised standard version, new revised standard version, English standard version and many more.
It's also available in English, Chinese, Russian, Hindi, Korean, Indonesian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, and more.
The YouVersion app offers Bible study plans and devotions written by Billy Graham, One Hope, Joyce Meyer, Hillsong, Rick Warren, and many more.
The app offers so many different types of devotions. They have devotions for faith, trust, encouragement, love, fasting, leadership, work, grace, and addiction. It also includes devotions for men and women, devotions for new to faith, health and healing, marriage, finances, knowing God, peace, missions, worship, anxiety, depression, hope, trust, forgiveness, fear, prayer, anger, wisdom, joy, purpose and doubt.
They also offer through the Bible, biblical studies, Christian living, Christmas plans, Easter plans, Advent and Thanksgiving and much more.
Here is a list of some of the plans that I have already completed:
