The Bold Type Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

*Spoilers*

Tonight's episode starts with us catching up with our three favorite ladies in Sutton and Jane's apartment. Once again Sutton is hungover from her night out with Brooke. Who knew making connections in the fashion world could be so exhausting.

While eating breakfast Jane gets a message informing her that she has been nominated for an award based on the “ Carry the Weight” article she wrote for Scarlet featuring an interview with Jacqueline about her own sexual assault in the workplace.

Best part of the scene is how excited Sutton and Kat got for Jane even though they had no idea what the award was for until Jane explained it to them.

Sutton's hard partying with Brooke has not escaped the attention of Oliver. When Sutton arrives to work late again we see a softer side of Oliver when he asks Sutton if she is taking care of herself.

Jane is overjoyed by the nomination but also uneasy because it features Jacqueline especially after Jacqueline refused to bring her back to Scarlet.

With some encouragement from Dr. Ben, Jane uses the nomination to get her foot in the door and begins lining up interviews with ease.

Her meeting goes well and she is offered the chance to write a follow up piece for “Carry the Weight”. The editor convinces her to write the piece because she was writing about the #MeToo Movement before the #MeToo Movement.

Sutton is still grappling with the fact that she broke up with Richard and is spiraling out of control with a little help from Brooke.

Still reeling from a broken heart Oliver informs her that Jacqueline has given her a special assignment. Jacqueline wants Sutton to style Richard's new girlfriend for the award ceremony.

Sutton does an amazing job styling her and learns more than she is ready to hear. Turns out Richard's new girlfriend is actually his old girlfriend. They dated in law school and got back together after Richard and Sutton broke up. She also told Sutton that both she and Richard are ready to settle down.

While Adena is away on a retreat Kat decides to hit up a bar with one of  Adena’s old friends. Kat gets more than she bargained for when she starts drinking and the women in the bar flirting with her. Soon she is on the dance floor and kissing another woman. Overwhelmed with guilt she runs to Jane and Sutton.

Kat decides to be honest with Adena and tells her about the dreams she has been having and about the bar and kissing another woman.

A broken hearted Adena leaves Kat standing in the apartment alone. Breaking the hearts of fans worldwide.

While Jane is interviewing women for the follow up piece she meets a woman who was assaulted by the same man as Jacqueline  several years after Jacqueline was assaulted.

The woman confides in Jane that she doesn't blame Jacqueline because she also kept quiet for the same reason but she had to wonder that if Jacqueline had reported it that she would not have been assaulted.

Now faced with a dilemma, Jane has to decide whether or not to use the woman's story and if she does she has to tell Jacqueline.

Sutton finally comes to her senses and kicks Brooke to the curb in a manner of speaking and Sutton and Kat put their personal problems aside and head to the award ceremony to support Jane on her big night.

Jane pulls Jacqueline aside at the ceremony and tells Jacqueline everything about the woman who came forward.

The acceptance speech that Jane gave when she won was absolutely beautiful. Honoring all the brave women who spoke out about sexual assault.

Jane finished her follow up piece and emailed it to the editor. Then she emailed to Jacqueline.

Adena finally returned to the apartment and had a heartfelt talk with Kat. She told her she understands her curiosity because she is the only one Kat has been with but she doesn't know how to handle it.

Now that Sutton has her life back on track she is bringing her A game to work again.

Jacqueline requests a meeting with Jane. Jacqueline tells her the reason she didn't hire her back was because she was coming from a place of fear . After reading the follow up piece I realized you have no more fear and I would like for you to come back to Scarlet.

We have missed you and I have missed you Jane.

Tonight's episode ends with Kat and Sutton in the fashion closet talking when Jane walks in. They ask what are you doing here and Jane replies, I work here.

Best line of the episode goes to Sutton:

I'm drunk because I had drinks.

Most  heartbreaking moment goes to Kat and Adena

The OMG that is so sweet moment goes to Dr.Ben for always being there for Jane and encouraging her every step of the way.

Best part of tonight's episode:

Jane's back at Scarlet!!!!!!

B-PURE Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it. The B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser is now part of my daily 3 Step Skin Care Routine. I highly recommend trying it for yourself.
