10 Free Apps for Blogging On-the-Go

Top 10 Apps for Blogging on-the-go
Updated on November 4th 2023

Today I will walking you through my Blogging process complete with all the apps I use on a daily basis.

The first thing you should know is that I run my blog completely via my phone. I do not use a laptop or PC. I have found that I enjoy “Blogging on-the-go” much more than being tied to a desk for hours on end.

In order to achieve this I use the following Apps to run my blog and social media accounts.

  • Google Docs
I use Google docs to write all my blog posts. I can start working on a blog post when I'm out and go back to it later. Once I have finished writing and editing a post in docs, I simply copy and paste it straight into my blog and schedule it to publish. This makes writing so much easier.

  • Google Sheets
In case you can't tell, I'm a huge fan of Google. I use Google Sheets to make my schedules for my blog content and for my social media accounts. I love the fact that I can color coordinate everything I add to my calendar. I can choose a specific color text and background color for every box,( yes, I'm that bad) . Google Sheets also has a To-Do-List that I use for daily reminders. One of my favorites is the Annual Budget Tracker. It makes it simple to keep track of your Income and Expenses. Perfect for bloggers and small business owners.

  • Canva
I'm pretty sure everyone knows about Canva but just in case. Canva is this absolutely amazing app that lets you create perfectly sized images for your blog, social media, and more. This is my go to for all my social media headers. They have the dimensions already grouped together for every social media channel. Thanks to Canva I don't have to spend hours on a computer trying to figure out the dimensions for a Twitter header, a Facebook header, etc. My favorite part of Canva is how easily I can create a Pinterest graphic for each blog post.

  • PicsArt
I use PicsArt for editing my photos. I have tried several different editing apps and PicsArt has been the most user friendly that I have come across. Simple to use and works beautifully.

  • AOL Mail
My love/ hate relationship. The app works great, I just really don't like sifting through emails 2 hours a day. Having the app I am notified instantly to new messages. This is very important to me, because I am able to respond faster to time sensitive emails.

  • Twitter
I simply can't live without my Twitter! My favorite social media channel. My day starts with a cup of coffee and what's trending on Twitter. I'm most active on Twitter (X)

  • Instagram
I will admit I was late to the game getting started on Instagram. I waited a long time to join and I'm glad I finally did. You will notice my Instagram is not a stream lined feed. I enjoy the perfectly curated feeds of other bloggers, however, that simply isn't me. I want my followers to feel like we are close friends, I try to use a lot of behind the scene shots of myself and my family and yes our spoiled cats.

  • Pinterest
Yep, another favorite. I love this app, the problem is I always lose track of time and before I know it several hours have passed.

  • LinkedIn
I have connected with so many bloggers using this app I will be grateful forever. I have been lucky enough to meet such talented people who are always ready to help you out when you need advice.

B-PURE Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it. The B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser is now part of my daily 3 Step Skin Care Routine. I highly recommend trying it for yourself.
