A Designated Workspace

Good morning ! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. As you know we have spent the last few months fixing up our home. We have been working room by room and I am happy to report that I finally have a vanity/ office desk! I have always worked at the kitchen table which was fine unless there were distractions in that part of the house.

I require complete silence in order to concentrate on anything. Needless to say I was thrilled to have finally found a corner in the master bedroom to set up a desk/ vanity.

We picked up the desk about a year ago at a thrift store for $20 . It was originally for my husband. Unfortunately, it was wider than the door frame on the bedroom and we had to take the door off the hinges to get it in the room and then rehang the bedroom door. When we decided to move the art/ craft studio to the small bedroom we agreed that in order to save a lot of aggravation we would simply leave the desk in our bedroom and use another table and desk in the studio.

The house and my office area is still a work in progress but here are some quick tips to get you started on organizing a desk. While it may be tempting to go out and buy stuff for the desk I suggest using what you already have.

Pencil Holders

Cute coffee cups and glasses are a great fun way to organize pens, pencils, markers, and more.

Baskets

Never underestimate the power of a good basket. Small baskets can be used to hold practically anything from cosmetics, craft supplies, stamps, and more. Larger baskets can be slid under the desk for larger items.

Decorating

Grab some of your family collectibles from around the house and start decorating your desk. You can also use jewelry boxes ( gives you more storage but the items are out of sight), small framed pictures, if your desk has a top or sides you can add command strips to hang different items.

B-PURE Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

I absolutely love trying new skin care products, especially those designed for people with sensitive skin like myself.  A few months ago on a trip to my local Dollar Tree I found the B- Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser and decided to give it a try.  Review  I was really surprised at how well the B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser worked at removing the dirt and oil from my face without stripping and irritating my skin. Let me just say it is definitely the most gentle skin cleanser I have ever come across. It leaves my skin clean, smooth and refreshed every time I use it. The B-Pure Gentle Skin Cleanser is now part of my daily 3 Step Skin Care Routine. I highly recommend trying it for yourself.
