How To Be Productive When You Have No Motivation

Welcome back to the blog! Grab a cup of coffee and settle in for a quick read this morning. Today I will be sharing some tricks that I use to get stuff done when I don’t even feel like getting out of bed.

Have A Normal Sleep Pattern

Having a normal sleeping pattern is crucial. Establishing a normal sleep pattern again after the past two years was vital. If at all possible go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Yes, even on weekends. Trust me your body will adjust and you will feel so much better.
Exercise Daily

A quick workout in the morning will get your blood flowing and you will be ready for anything that comes your way. Exercise helps us both physically and mentally. I usually start my morning with a short yoga workout and follow it up with a workout that will jump start my morning.
Plan Your Meals Ahead of Time

Planning your meals in advance really helps save time. In the morning you simply grab and go.

Make Your To-Do List The Night Before

I know a lot of people do all their planning digitally, however, I prefer paper and pen. I spend an hour each night with a cup of coffee and my notebook and plan out my day. I include any blog posts that need to be written, images to create, photography, social media, emails, grocery shopping, cleaning, appointments, etc. The most time-consuming tasks go at the top of my list because I like to get those out of the way first. Then I focus on everything else. Make sure to schedule plenty of breaks throughout the day.
Self-Care

You never really heard too much about self-care until recently. Self- Care is vitally important to being productive. As my grandpa used to say, “The Car Won’t Run Without Fuel”. If we don’t take time to rest and make time for things we enjoy, then what’s the point. For me, self-care means soaking in a hot bubble bath every night. While I enjoy my bubble bath my husband puts on a fresh pot of coffee so I can have a cup of coffee on the patio as soon as I get out.

Benefits of an Evening Meditation Routine

Step One A hot bath to soothe aching muscles. Step Two Sitting in my favorite chair with a cup of coffee and a book for thirty minutes to an hour. Step Three I pull up YouTube and do an evening ( sleep ) meditation. Step Four I take a Sound Bath .  You can find many of these on YouTube. Step Five I put on my favorite relaxation music and set it on repeat so it plays all night long. I highly encourage everyone to set up an evening meditation routine. I have learned that if I start my day with a morning meditation routine and end it with a meditation routine my overall heal...

Insight Timer App Review

Welcome back friends. I recently discovered a new app called Insight Timer and I wanted to share my thoughts with you on it. I learned about this app when a podcast host I listened to mentioned it and I decided to download it and try it out for myself and all of you. Insight Timer Review  I have been using the Insight Timer App for a few weeks now and the first thing I noticed about it was that there are no ads at all. The Insight Timer App is free to use, you can make donations if you choose and they do offer a premium service although they never push it on you which is really nice. Always a plus in my book. I would personally classify this app under self- help / self-care . Again that is personal assessment.  I will tell you this though, since the day I downloaded the Insight Timer App I have used it at least twice a day every single day.  The app has a lot to offer but I personally use it for meditation, mindfulness, gratitude, affirmations, manifestation, and journali...
